A group of dismissed and suspended individuals circulated a communiqué claiming to have held a National Executive Council (NEC) meeting on 25 December 2025 and announcing a so-called “suspension” of the PMAN President.

Was there a valid NEC meeting on 25 December 2025?

No. PMAN confirms that no valid NEC meeting was convened on that date.

Why is the meeting invalid?

Under Article 11(G) of the PMAN Constitution, only the General Secretary in consultation with the President can convene a valid NEC meeting.
That process was not followed.

What about claims that someone else can preside over a NEC meeting?

Article 11(I) only applies after a valid NEC meeting has been properly convened under Article 11(G). Since there was no valid meeting, this provision does not apply.

Is there any court order on PMAN’s leadership?

Yes. A court order dated 30 October 2025 (Suit No. NICN/LA/48/2025) expressly restrains any alteration to PMAN’s leadership structure pending the final determination of the case.
This order is still in force and binding.
